SHARP Project Forum: A platform to share experiences and solutions to promote decentralisation in Libya

On 6 November 2023, the SHARP Project Forum was held at the Four Points Hotel in Tripoli, providing an opportunity to exchange experiences and insights among the civil society organisations involved in the project, which made innovative presentations on their various projects. The forum witnessed a special presentation on the "Strengthening the Legal Framework for Decentralisation in Libya" project, which aims to establish strong legal foundations that support decentralisation in the country. The forum was more than just an opportunity to showcase projects; it turned into a lively dialogue platform, bringing together representatives of civil society, local government, and international organisations in in-depth discussions on the challenges and opportunities facing local governance in Libya. It was also an opportunity to share valuable experiences among the participants, reflecting the effective collaboration between different parties to strengthen local governance systems and develop communities.
